Related Organizations
The NGB is a section of the Netherlands Society of Statistics and Operations Research. Within this organisation, six sections within this field are united, focusing on both science and business.
The global, umbrella organization of Operations Research associations is IFORS: International Federation of Operational Research Societies. The European Operations Research associations are organised within EURO.

In the Netherlands, the NGB works together with the LNMB, Dutch Network on the Mathematics of Operations Research. Together they organize the yearly Lunteren conference. The tasks of the LNMB are twofold. Firstly, the LNMB offers courses for PhD and Master students. Secondly, it is the organization of full and associate professors in the field of Operations Research.
